Wedding Party

Brian's little brother. 

Brian has known Brandon his whole life. They enjoy many of the same beers and share the same parents and relatives. They also are on the same bowling team.

Always a bridesmaid, never a maid of honor... until now!

Kirsten and Neha met at a mutual friend's wedding only to develop a fantastic friendship in Chicago. Upon being asked to be maid of honor, Neha agreed and then promptly moved to Tampa, FL.

Brian was one of Vince's groomsman so he thought he'd return the favor.

Brian spent many summers practically living at Vince's house: playing video games, watching sports, and creating the BPF (Basement Pool Federation). They both went on to college at UW-Platteville. These days, Brian is known as Unkie Brian to Vince's kids.  

Leah explicitly requested not to be maid of honor, but got promoted anyways.

Kirsten and Leah met in high school and grew close in spring of freshman year when they traveled to Italy together on the Choir/Orchestra trip. In the years since high school, they have never lived in the same place, but have been each other's late-minute flights time and time again.

Hannah likes beer even more than Brian does.

For two years, Hannah and Brian worked hand in hand on projects together at Evolent Health.  When Hannah moved away to Columbus they were still able to find time to hang out despite Hannah's ever increasing family size.  Brian enjoys that Cleveland is so close to Columbus making it easier to maintain their friendship.

It wouldn't be a party without her brother.

Vince and Kirsten have the same last name (for now). While a bit non-traditional, Kirsten knew her brother had to be part of the Bridal party. They've always been there for each other and always will be. Kirsten's so excited for the future position Vince will play when she and Brian start a family. 

Are they even friends?

Brian and Evan worked together at multiple companies. They lived across "the woods" from each other. Brian and Evan were not friends on Facebook because both refuse to add people as friends... until April 2022. Evan's girlfriend made him add Brian so Brian could be invited to Evan's birthday party. This was redundant as they had already invited Kirsten.  

From down-the-road neighbor to lifelong friend.

Megan and Kirsten met at day camp in 1996. Later that summer, when each girl was out separately with their fathers, they learned that their new friend was also their neighbor! While Kirsten has left their hometown of Shaker Heights in her past, she is thankful that Megan will always go out of the way to hang out when she is in town. 

Bryan's parents spelled his name wrong. 

Brian and Boyer worked together at Evolent Health but their friendship has lasted beyond Boyer's time at the company.  The Brẏans have hung out at Bryan's  (former) place in Boston (and drove up to Portland, Maine with Kirsten and Brandon), spent multiple 4th of Julys in Wisconsin, and went to Disney World and the Daytona 500 in February of 2022.

Kirsten's friend since before she was born. 

Katie is Kirsten's oldest friend. This is due to the fact that a pregnant Jennifer Gassman would hang out with baby Katie and her mom on the front stoop. It's growing up around Katie and her Peruvian mother that made Kirsten eager to check out "Machu Pichu," the Peruvian restaurant where she and Brian had their first friend date. During the pandemic, Kirsten appreciated visiting Katie & her husband (socially distanced) in their backyard. 

Eliza is the daughter of Kirsten's cousin, Angela. 

Nancy is Kirsten's maternal grandmother and great-grandmother to Eliza.
